Lists
Working sets and pipelines, as a table or a board, with your own columns.
A list holds together what you are currently working on. It is always a selection from something, which is why it sits below contacts.
And it is more than a collection: a list is the pipeline of a property or a campaign, draggable as a board, in the order of the process, with every card leading into its record.
Three rows, three questions
| Row | Answers |
|---|---|
| Header | Which list. The name is the switch, beside it the kind, on the right pinning, the attributes and the menu |
| Views | Which arrangement. The saved ones as chips, with their shape |
| Setup | What and how. Filtering, grouping, the count, and on the right the presentation |
A list has one of three kinds: contacts, properties or marketings.
When creating one there are two templates: Pipeline (with the stages first contact, viewed, offer, closing) or Empty table.
Table and board
In the table the name column takes a third of the panel and sticks while scrolling sideways. After it come your attributes as columns, numbers right-aligned.
The board has three levels: the board is the board, a column is a stage, a card is the person or the property. Columns are 280 pixels wide and show the sum in the header for a numeric attribute.
Moving sets one value, nothing else
Dragging a card into another column sets the value of the attribute you are grouping by. Nothing else. A column is not a state of the property, it is a column of this one list.
That is the difference from the marketing board under My properties, where nothing is dragged, because there a column means the listing itself.
Three routes lead to the same place: dragging with the mouse, Move to in the row menu (the route for keyboard and phone), and the row in the grid. The menu shows every stage: whoever wants to go from first contact straight to closing should not have to click three times.
What you can do here
New list sits at the top and on the N key.
In the header: switch lists via the name, Pin, Attributes (create, rename, order stages, delete), New view, Rename and Delete list.
In the setup row: Filter (key F), Grouping and the presentation.
On the rows: Add, Add to ..., Open, Move to, Remove from list. Select several and Actions and Set ... appear.
The search shortcut is F, not the slash: on a German keyboard that is Shift and 7.
Terms
Fixed versus live: a fixed list holds entries, a live one runs against a filter and brings along whoever matches today. A live one carries the Live chip in its header, because it can do less: no columns of its own, no board, no rows by hand.
Attribute: a column only this list carries. The values hang off the entry, not off the contact. Four kinds: text, number, date, choice. A choice attribute becomes columns on the board.
Stage: one value of a choice attribute, with an order, and progress is derived from it.
View: a saved arrangement of the same list, so presentation plus grouping.
A list is not a search brief. A search brief is the counterpart on the search side: a search built in conversation that receives matches and is counted under demand. A list is a selection you curate from your own portfolio.
What the agent does here
It looks up your lists and adds a person or a property to one, or takes them out, one call per entry. If it takes someone out, the contact itself remains.
Nothing waits for a yes here: a list stays in the house.
The chat chip is not on this screen, for the same reason as on contacts. Ctrl or Cmd and J works.
Worth knowing
Deleting affects only the compilation: the people in it remain, only this compilation disappears. The same goes for a view: the rows remain, only this arrangement goes.
No value is a value of its own. On the board it gets a column; in the cell it reads "Empty". An empty cell looks like a missing value, and that would be a lie.
The address carries ?liste=, ?ansicht= and ?anlegen=1, so that a bookmark or a shared message leads back. The automatic preselection is not in there: it is not a person's decision.
Empty columns only appear here when someone never assigned a value. Unlike the marketing board, which always shows all five.
