Server limits
How much the two MCP servers accept at once, how large a call, a list, a text or a file may be, and what no tool does without a click.
The values apply to both servers unless noted otherwise. What concerns only one server is further down under Athaus für Makler and Athaus Immobiliensuche.
For both servers
| Rate limit | 30 calls at once, then one per second. Counted per account, across both servers together. Above that the server answers with 429 as an HTTP response, without Retry-After (Limits). |
| Size of a call | At most 512 KB per request; above that 413 with payload_too_large. |
tools/list | Stays under 12,000 tokens per server (counted as characters divided by four). A test holds this on every change to a tool. |
| Lists and searches | Where a tool takes limit, at most 25 entries per call, 10 when not given. If a result carries next_cursor, the same call with cursor fetches the next page. |
| Confirmation card | Valid for 15 minutes. After that nothing has gone out, and the assistant prepares again (Apps and cards). |
| Token | Valid for one hour and only at the server you consented to. A refresh token works exactly once; after that only the new one works (Sign-in). |
| Calls from a browser | A call carrying the Origin header of a foreign site gets 403. Assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor call without that header and are not affected. |
| Account without access | While Athaus is closed, an account without clearance still sees the tools, and every call says that it has no access right now. |
Files
A tool that accepts files gets them from the assistant as a reference (openai/fileParams in ChatGPT) and fetches them itself:
- only over
https, only from public addresses, without redirects, waiting at most 20 seconds; - JPEG, PNG, WebP and PDF are accepted, recognised by the first bytes of the file, not by its name;
- up to 25 MB per file are fetched, up to 4 MB are stored: a larger image is scaled down, a larger PDF is read but not stored;
- whatever does not arrive is named in the result with its reason; what arrived is processed anyway.
How many files one call carries is listed per server.
What no tool does by itself
The model prepares, a person carries out. Whatever goes out, overwrites or deletes waits for a click in the confirmation card or in the app; no model sees the tool that carries out the click. Without a click, Athaus für Makler only runs what the office has set to Automatic, and only with the right freigeben. The full rule is under Rights.

The interfaces that ChatGPT and Claude draw right in the chat: a property from the portfolio, listings as a list, the exposé with an enquiry form, your enquiries, a search order and the confirmation card.
