Keys
An API key for your own agents and services, with exactly the rights you give it.
Create a key
- In the app open Settings, API keys. You also get there via Settings, MCP server, section Your own agent.
- Optionally give it a name, then choose its rights.
lesen(read) is always included; tickvorschlagen(suggest) andfreigeben(approve) if the agent needs them. - Copy the key. It is shown only this once.
A key starts with ath_, followed by 43 characters. The list then only shows its beginning, for example ath_7f2c.
What you need to know
- Only a fingerprint is stored (SHA-256), never the key itself. If you lose it, create a new one.
- It belongs to you, not to the office. It sees what you see in the app and stops working if your account is deleted.
- Revoking takes effect immediately. A revoked key stays in the list for a year so you can trace what existed.
- Send it as
Authorization: Bearer ath_..., see Authentication. - On the MCP servers it only works with Athaus für Makler. Athaus Immobiliensuche only takes sign-in through OAuth.

Give a key only what its agent really needs. An agent that should draft replies needs vorschlagen, not freigeben: then every draft waits for your yes in the app.
